Windows FX effects included in Longhorn?

I just read something interesting on Neowin:

According to the article + screenshots, this new DWM (Desktop Windows Manager, lately renamed from DCE) acts a LOT like windows FX. I wonder if Stardock has helped MS on this or is it yet again MS taking somebody else's idea and touting it theirs...
