What does a Pink Highlighted Application mean?

When I invoke Alt tabby, some of the apps appear in pink highlight. What does that indicate? Also it should be obvious that the applications are not grouping as specified in the Alttabby options.

What grouping settings do you have set that it is not respecting?

As you can see from the previous message, Excel windows are not being grouped. They also happen to be the ones in pink highlight. Is there a connection, I wonder?
