I had Fences 4 and upgraded to Fences 6, but after installation i cannot create any fences nor do i see the option to do so.
Yes. The laptop was restarted but no luck getting the prompt to make the fence.
Should i have installed the Beta version instead?

Sorry to hear you are having issues. No, the v6.46 should work. Perhaps something went wrong while installing. Would like to suggest, try purge and reinstall steps as mention here : [Purge and Install]. Just make sure to redownload the latest version from your account page. Reboot after the purge. Reinstall and reboot again after the installation. Retest and report back here.
