After searching the start menu hangs

Hello,

 

I am using the latest Windows 11 25H2 version and the latest Start11 version. I also use Everything as a portable installation. Now I have the problem that after using the Start11 search, the menu freezes for some time. Either you can still see the menu (the search) or the window closes briefly and the Start button is unusable for a few seconds. This behaviour is independent of whether Everything is used for searching or not. In other words, the setting in Start 11 causes the same problem when active and inactive.

 

Is this problem known?

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. First, please try, uninstall Start11, reboot immediately (important), download latest version available in your account product download page: https://store.stardock.com/myaccount/products. Install it, reboot immediately again. Retest it and report back.

Thank you for your reply. I have followed your instructions at least three or four times, always with the same result. I have also tried the current beta version and the problem persists there too.

Thank you, next, please do a clean boot. Refer here for steps. https://support.stardock.com/space/SHC/1334935592/Start11+Clean+Boot. Do note that Clean boot need to be done with care. Please try it and report back.
