Fences confused by 2 screens

I noticed that the images for my backup look off. I have two screens, a central monitor 1920x1200 which is monitor 2 in Windows, and a left monitor 1600x1200 as monitor 1 (due to how they're plugged in to my video card). The image displayed for the backup looks like it thinks the screens are swapped...the line demarcating the two monitors in the image shows the left monitor is the larger one and the right is the smaller one.

I don't see a way to attach the backup file, but these are the ResolutionFingerprint lines:

  <ResolutionFingerprint>[-1600|0|1600|1200|0|\\.\DISPLAY1];[0|0|1920|1200|1|\\.\DISPLAY2];</ResolutionFingerprint>

  <ResolutionFingerprintEx>[-1600|0|1600|1200|100|\\.\DISPLAY1|\\.\DISPLAY1\Monitor0|\\?\DISPLAY#SAM01AE#5&14dd66b2&0&UID274688#{e6f07b5f-ee97-4a90-b076-33f57bf4eaa7}|\Registry\Machine\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{4d36e96e-e325-11ce-bfc1-08002be10318}\0002];[0|0|1920|1200|100|\\.\DISPLAY2|\\.\DISPLAY2\Monitor0|\\?\DISPLAY#HSD20E6#5&14dd66b2&0&UID274694#{e6f07b5f-ee97-4a90-b076-33f57bf4eaa7}|\Registry\Machine\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{4d36e96e-e325-11ce-bfc1-08002be10318}\0001];</ResolutionFingerprintEx>

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. First, need more details on your system.

  1. Windows 10 or 11? Also, need its full version and OS Build number. Please use Winver.exe.
  2. Fences full version installed.
  3. More Information on your two monitors, resolution, Scale 100%,150% etc on each monitor.

Thank you,

  1. Windows 11 24H2 (OS Build 26100.4946)
  2. Fences 6.02 (Although looking at backups from before the upgrade to 6, they have the same issue.)
  3. Monitors:
    1. Left monitor (monitor 1): Samsung SyncMaster 204b, resolution 1600x1200, Scale 100%
    2. Center monitor (monitor 2): Hanspree I-Inc IH282, resolution 1920x1200, Scale 100%

Please try this, Click on Swap contents of monitors 1 and 2, and see if this help. Refer my screenshot below.

You misunderstand. My Fences are all in the correct places. It's just that the backup image is incorrect. There's some kind of shading effect that's used to show the borders of the different monitors. It gets the order wrong on this effect, so it shows the border as dividing up the Fences.

Oh, it just the backup image is incorrect. Got it. Thank you to clarify, my mistake.

I don't have the same monitor size to test your issue. Just as a test, please do a print screen "prt sc" on your desktop with that fences and your desktop. Post the picture here. Would like to see if it appear correctly, with prt sc.

Thank you,
