Cursor too light in some WB skins

I presently am using a gorgeous Window Blinds by Geyster called Black and Tan. I love it. I have been at Wincustomize for 3 years. The problem I run into with this beautiful WB skin and some of the other darker ones, is the cursor is too light and in the program I use daily (and also Outlook Express Emails) is that the cursor is too light and I cannot see it that well. Emails is no biggie but I am a medical transcriptionist and have to type all day long on the computer so I need to be able to spot the cursor pronto in order to make changes and ions. In Black and Tan WB suite, the cursor is a faint light blue. I have fiddled around with Skin Studio and do not really want to change the WB skin any more than necessary because most of them are so perfect the way they are. I have tried changing the text part in Misc/Colors in Skin studio but must be hitting the wrong ones. Does anyone know why the cursor comes out so light in some skins, especially with some of the darker backgrounds and how I can make the cursor a dark Black or at least a darker stand-out shade. Any help is much appreciated. I love this program and I really love the darker WB skins. Thanks.

Okay, I think you misunderstood my question, or I just didn't explain it right. The blinking cursor that tells you where you are in a document. If you are typing and stop, the blinking straight up and down line. Not the mouse. I guess I didn't explain it right. But thank you for trying.

I think I didn't explain the problem I am having correctly. The blinking vertical line in a document or Email that shows you where you are in the document...not the mouse cursor. In certain WB skins, it is too light and I cannot follow my document. I presently have a WB skin called Black/Tan that I love. But the cursor is a light beige/blue color and it is hard to see in my work, especially with the tan background. Some WB skins it is a dark black and great but I want to know if there is any way to darken the cursor (don't know what else to call that vertical line) to be able to see it in documents. Am I explaining this right? Someone thought I meant the mouse cursor with my previous question so I am trying to explain it better. Any help is much appreciated.

It gets it's colour from the system button text and can be adjusted in SkinStudio.

p.s. no need for two threads on one subject...

The only reason I posted two different texts it because it sounded like a Cursor XP problem, which it wasn't. That is why I was trying to clarify my question. I appreciate your answer and will see if this will fix the problem. Thanks

Okay, checked the system button text and it is coal black, yet my cursor is a light blue/beige, the same as it was. I love this WB skin but it is difficult to work with on my program at work. If anyone else has a suggestion I would appreciate it. I am a little nervous about posting this thread because sometimes people assume everyone is as intelligent as all of you skinners. I know how to download and use them, but I have no clue as to how you make them or how to change them for my needs. I certainly do enjoy them though and thank you so much for all the beautiful WBs and other programs.

Dianekk, Have windowblinds exclude those programs you're having trouble with.
