New to ObjectDock, how to use the Overlays ?

Got the Overlay I need but how do I use it ? It is under the Objectdock folder but for the life of me can't figure out what to do with it. It has .INI and .PNG, know what they are but what do you do to make it work.

Thanks

Can you clarify something for me? Is this an overlay, or a background? If you could provide a link to it that would be great.

If its just one png and one ini file, then its probably a background. These files would have to be put inside a folder inside the background folder. Come to think of it, you would do the same with an overlay. It should automaticly work in OD from there.

Thanks for that. The file is in the ObjectDock Lib, in the Dock Overlays section called 'Brushed Menu'. Have re-downloaded it and as you suggested put folder 'Skins' under the 'Background' folder. Now when I go to 'Backgrounds' in ObjectDock Config, I now see a file called 'Brushed.ini', obviously not supposed to be that, as it's supposed to show me a menu structure on the ObjectDock ?

Now for another question: Are you trying to use KkMenu?

No, trying to use 'Brushed Menu' from the Dock Overlays section in the ObjectDock Library. Allows you to have -down or up (I think) menus on the ObjectDock.

Yes, that is a skin for KkMenu, which you dont have. It is an add-on to ObjectDock.

This: https://www.wincustomize.com/skins.asp?library=29&SkinID=135 is an actualy dock overlay, where there is a background behind the icons, and a section in front of the icons. You should be able to have this in a folder inside the backgrounds folder for it to work.

Hi Thanks, I found it by typing 'Menu' in the search in ObjectDock Library. Thanks
