Lock Fences feature

I have two computers, both with Fences 6.0 installed.

One of the installs let's me lock the Fences.

The other does not.

I remember seeing something about the feature being removed.

It's a really useful feature.

Is there something I need to do to enable "locking" on my other Fences installation?

I just did a fresh install of Windows 11 24H2 and Fences 6 and had this same issue. Can't the installer or the product be fixed to make the product behave correctly?

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. But, what issue was you referring? Please elaborate on your issue. Also, it is best for you to create your own thread on your issue.

A fresh install of Fences on a fresh copy of Windows should not require a .reg file to be run by the user to enable the "Lock Fences" field in the View menu.

I guess you missed this part. The feature was removed by design. So, the user need to do the registry tweak to enable the feature if the user wish to have it back.
