Start11: Two issues

I have two issues with start11 on a specific laptop.  (A second laptop + desktop do not have this problem.)

  1. The first issue is that I have no "Start11" start menu entry.  Not when searching for it via typing, and not in the full list.  Using the windows start menu also doesn't have it.
  2. When I use "Force not touch mode device", the windows builtin icons + time are all displayed at an offset towards the bottom and half visible.  Using "force touch" or automatic works fine.  Screenshot below.  I also tried resetting the settings, then just turn on the enhanced taskbar, and made the "not touch" settings and it's off (second screenshot).

The issues were happening with v2.51, and I just tried installing v2.52.3 to see if they're resolved, and both issues are still present.  Before you suggest it, I went through several attempts at uninstall-reboot-install-reboot.

Windows 11 Pro, version: 24H2, build 26100.4351

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. First, please try this, since you are on Windows 11 Pro, you should have Windows Sandbox available in your system. Please test install Start11 within the Windows Sandbox and see if the issue still appear while in there. Refer here: https://support.stardock.com/space/SHC/1416855562/Testing+Start+in+Sandbox. Try it and report back.

Thank you,

The force touch mode option is only to be used if automatic does not correctly detect your device.

Given the behaviour, you have a touch device and it sounds like Start11 is working correctly so you should be leaving it on automatic.

If there is no Start11 shortcut then settings can be accessed by right clicking on the menu or taskbar (depending on settings). Start11 starts automatically so no link to start it is needed.
