Dimension of the fences modified after having paused the PC

Hello to everybody,

I use Fences V4.22. I have a very large monitor (resolution 5120 x 1440)
Fences is set as frozen.

Since weeks, I don't dare to let my PC go to sleep mode, because when I reset the PC, the fences dimension are updated. Since I have many fences active it's a pity to redimension all fences.

The issue is the same when Fences is set on freeze.

I would like to let my PC go to sleep mode to reduce my energy consumption.

Is there anybody facing the same issue? and how is it possible to solve that?

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need to know you on Windows 10 or 11? Also need to know Windows version and OS Build number. Please use Windows "Winver.exe" to get there numbers.

I don't think Fences 4 is good in layout management on current version of Windows OS . New layout engine was introduced in Fences 5 which improve Fences layout management. As a test, please do 30 days free trial on Fences 6 and see if the same issue still appear.

I have bought the upgrade to Fences 6 for 5 devices and yes, it seems the issue is solved. I have reset again my PC to sleep mode after 5 minutes and after the quick restart, the fences dimensions are stable.
