Newbie Question about Start11 Licensing

Home License for Win11 Pro?

Hello there, 

today is my first day of (reluctantly) using Win11, and only because it came with a new Laptop and is (as far as Windows is concerned) somewhat inevitable anyways.

I have a Win11 Pro License (visual studio) and plan on activating it on this machines since I am a FOSS software dev in my spare time, no commercial use from home/private hardware whatsoever, though. The other people in the household will very likely use Win11 Home whe they will eventually have to, they do not need stuff like HyperV, WSL etc.

Would the "Home License" work with like 2 Win11 Home and one Win11 Pro editions? The FAQ I found aren't conclusive in that regard.

I'd like to know, no trial installed yet.

Hello,
Not sure how you system setup with 2 Win 11 Home and one Win 11 Pro, multiple boot or 1 main and 2 Virtual system? If so, Start11 Multi-Device license should work if you wish to have Start11 on all 3 systems.

that's three drifferent computers, two of them are still on Win10 at this point.

Exactly. I was thinking about the 5-Device-License and just wasn't sure if that covers Pro editions.

Gonna try it out and buy the Multi-License if it does what it's supposed to do, thanks!

Stardock is having a 25% off sale right now. Not sure how long it will last, but Start11v2 Multi Device is now $11.24 US.

I'd expect it to last until "Cyber Monday", but I'll try to get the testing done asap.
