Multiplicity 4 beta Windows 11 24H2 Unusable

Hi all,

I've been trying to trouble shoot this for hours and been through countless threads. My issue is that my primary computer when displaying any other computer via KVM is lagging terribly. When Iuse the physical mouse on the 2nd computer, I can see that there is no lag, but once i use the mouse from primary it lags. I've turned off the firewall (both computers), uninstalled razer mouse software. At one point I switched mice (with another razer mouse) and it started to work, but then reverted back after about 10 mins. When it was working, it worked perfect to all 3 other computers. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

So if you use the physical mouse on the remote computer when connected by KVM you can drag a window around and see no lag in the KVM window?

I want to be certain you are using the current 'Public Beta 2' version from your account page and that you have installed it on ALL, your MP PC

I am going to assume that the all your PCs use 'Razor' mice? In the Razor software, if you dial back DPI and Polling to absolute lowest levels, can you reproduce the issue?

If you have no mice connected to any of the Secondaries, can you reproduce the issue?

Are your Secondary PC CPUs 64 or 32-bit?

Hi there and thanks for the quick response.

Yes using public beta 2 from download on all machines. All computers are x64. 2 computers have no razer mice, and of those 2 one is wireless and turned off. The other uses a standard wired mouse. All systems are on 24H2. The one computer that uses Razer (i have 3 not including main) I lowered to the lowest polling but the issue is still there. I did have success running Multiplicity 3.6 when I tested it a while back but only done the trial which worked fine.

Exactly, when i drag a window around with the physical mouse it is perfect and no delay when viewing on th KVM screen, but as soon as i try to control it with the primary mouse on same screen, it is terrible lag and i can't click on anything, regardless of firewall or razer software on all 3 computers.

Hello again,

So I reinstalled the program, this time the symptom is different. I deleted all the folders, ran the program and only added one computer, which is the one without the razer mouse, my computer connects fine and mouse moves fine around the screen, however i can't interact with anything on the screen. This was the same as before however last time the mouse moved very sluggish and couldn't click on anything. I'm not sure if that helps. :)

Update: Everything works now. I down loaded the bat file for the Windows firewall, disabled Bitdefender Firewall, ran the bat file and bang all working fine. The wierd thing is I did disable W/Firewall initially as well as Bitdefender. Anyway it's working now so I appreciate the help I've recieved on the forums. Thank you. :)

The problem was probably the firewall blocking port 30564 which is used for mouse / keyboard.

We can auto configure the windows firewall (and we do unless on public network), but cannot do so for Bitdefender.
