Related question:
I am aware that it is possible to upgrade the included Multiplicity KM to the KVM or KVM Pro versions if I have an Object Desktop subscription. I am also aware that an OD Subscription entitles me to the newest version of the tools included in Object Desktop whenever they are released.
My question is whether the upgrade fee to move from the included KM to the upgraded KVM or KVM Pro products is a one-time fee (thus, entitling me to future upgrades of KVM or KVM Pro when released, assuming I maintain my annual OD subscription), or if this is an upgrade fee I will have to continue to pay in order to use future major release versions. If it is the latter, is a "higher tier" Object Desktop subscription option available that includes Multiplicity KVM or KVM Pro?
When you upgrade from OD to KVM or KVM Pro, you will get a permanent license for that product. For example, if you purchase an upgrade now, you will get Multiplicity KVM or KVM Pro version 3.60. And, all future version 3.X should also be free. But, when KVM version 4.X released you will need to purchase again. Do know, if a newer version product released, usually, user with previous version get discount price offer to them.
I hope, I have answered your questions. Do feel free to ask if you need more information on Multiplicity.
