Start11 feature request - pin shortcut - like QuickLaunch

I used to use Windows QuickLaunch to pin files and shortcuts on the taskbar. This was discontinued a while ago, and I was hoping that that the Start 11 Taskbar pins would be able to replace this functionality. Sadly it only does part of the job, so I was a little disappointed.

Please add the cabability to pin shortcuts directly to the taskbar

Thanks

What I did was to create a new folder in my USER folder, name it Tray Menu, and gave it a custom icon. I then created shortcuts of all the files, folders, and apps I wanted to access and put them in this Tray Menu folder. Then, using "Pin folder menu," I pinned this folder to my taskbar. It's not quite the same, but I think it's the best we're going to get. Unfortunately, the contents are sorted alphabetically.

The other thing I have done is Install ObjectDock 3, and created a dock with all my "QuickLaunch" items. I have it set to auto-hide, so all I have to do is move my mouse to the bottom of the screen, and it pops up. You can place docks anywhere on the screen, or on an edge for auto-hide.

Hope some of this is of use to you.
