WinCustomize Browser 1.29 beta on Stardock Central

Tons of new updates and changes. You'll need to have your WC serial entered

into Stardock Central (and check the Show Pre-release options under the View

menu) to see this beta.

Fixed bug with applying DesktopX themes and objects.
Updated support link in About dlg.
Improved search results loading time.
Added support for redirecting to webpages rather than downloading files.
Can now sort by Date with Downloads section.
Can now sort by Library within Downloads section.
Can now view files by library within Downloads section.
Large previews update between switching sections.
Fixed bug with large previews not showing the actual large preview.
Fixed but with downloading from the screen shots library.
Merged both News and WebBrowser sections.
Added Archives option to News section.
Added Subscribers links with My Account section.
Added Copy Url rmb function to Discussion boards for selected threads.
Removed the Move submenu from with the rmb Downloads section.
Added Extract menu options to downloaded zip files within Downloads section.
Fixed discussion board refresh problem on refreshing updates.
Username and passwords are now encrypted within the registry.
Fixed viewing large previews on WinXP ServicePack2.

Does an ODNT subscription automatically provide a full WC subscription?

I ask because my ODNT serial No is not recognised when I use SDC to register WC.

I presume this is the reason that when I use the 'Skins & Themes' button in SDC that it shows a page requestng I pay for WC.

For the record (FTR?) I *have* cross-referenced my ODNT account on the WC website.

I'm really only curious, because to date I haven't used the skinning components of ODNT at all....

I saw this pop up in Component Tray. However, I can't seem to find it anywhere. SDC did not pick it up, yes I have show pre-release selected. I am fully registered including for the WC Browser. I went to the web sites for SD and WC, could not find it anywhere. Is it gone? Am I blind? Has my brain gone to Florida and left the rest of me behind?

Close SDC and click on SDC tray and get updates...SDC updated tonight to 1.24

In SDC settings check 'Check For SDC Beta Updates on Startup'. Close and re-start SDC

The WinCustomize Browser isnt designed to auto download files within its que.

I have the SDC 1.24 update. that works no problem. However, I still can not seem to find or update to the 1.29 beta for WC Browser. Yes, I checked the WC Browser tab, just shows 1.20, no updates available, eeven after manually telling it to check for updates, etc. It did pop up in Component Tray last night, but then disappeared forever. Help please? Anywhere to directly download it?

Make sure "Select Beta Updates" or soemthing like that is checked in the options

I have that checked. Shows all betas for SDC and OD apps. Not for WC Browser. I have also done the check for updated apps option, etc.

Make sure you have your wincustomize serial number entered within Stardock Central otherwise no updates will be displayed. To check this goto the Tools menu > Register Products > and select the WinCustomize tab.
