My control of icons

Fences has its purpose, but is there any way to stop it from moving icons?  I want to move and place icons where I want them.  A novel concept for some, I'm sure.  I tried version 5 and it still seems to lack this basic feature.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Are you referring to icons within the Fences or outside the Fences and on General Desktop area? If within the Fences area, there is, currently, no option to not auto-arrange Icons to top-left. But, if you're referring to icons outside Fences, you should be able to so, by turning off Windows Desktop auto-arrange icons setting. It should stay in your specify location, unless that location under a Fence. Than, Fences will push that icon away.

Thank you.

Within Fences.  " there is, currently, no option to not auto-arrange Icons to top-left." - In the year 2024, this is hard to believe.

That is the situation, I am not the coder, but I bet there must be a very good reason for not implementing it. This features have been requested for a lot, and so far, nothing on it yet.
