(QoL SUGGESTION) Give us an option to disable mouse buttons create fences!

Hello, is this even the right way to request here something? I didnt found anything else related to suggestions/ requests, so I will try it here.

Lets keep it short:

Fences has 3 options:

1. create fence groups with left and right mouse buttons

2. create fence groups with left mouse button only

3. create fence groups with right mouse button only

Please give us an fourth option to disable this, without disabling fences!

 

My second problem is the context menu:

Why on earth is the context menu entry at the very top of the menu??

PLEASE give us an option to remove the context menu entry in the installer like portal desktop organisation does + please re range the context entry.

 

Thx for your time reading this, I hope some devs will read this and provide these 2 simple customisation options asap.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. If you have Fences 4 there is an option to lock Fences. If you locked Fences the Fences creating box is disabled. If you have Fences 5, you can use this guide to bring back the "Lock Fences" option reappear. https://support.stardock.com/space/SHC/1621360668/Show+%22Lock+Fences%22+in+Fences+5

For the second request. If you on Windows 11, the Configure Fences is moved to under the View menu.

Do u plan to move the menu entry under windows 10 aswell?

I know windows 10 will run out, but LTSC version will be supported until 2032.
