Start 11 Install On New Windows 11 Laptop

Configuration App Locks Up

I installed the latest version of Start 11 onto a new laptop with Windows 11.  It installs and starts the Start 11 service.  The configuration application launches but is "frozen".  Clicking anywhere on the app generates a "beep" but, that is it.  The default Windows start menu is still active.  Every reboot auto launches the configuration app in frozen state.  Have to uninstall Start 11 to get rid of the configuration app auto launching in frozen state on every boot.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. First, are you on ARM CPU base system? if not please try this. Uninstall Start11, reboot immediately, re-download Start11 again from your product account page. Reboot again after installation. Retest and report back.

Thank you

Hello - I appreciate your assistance. My laptop is an Intel i3 processor.  I tried the instructions exactly but, the results remain the same.  Upon the final step of the install process, it gets stuck in the configuration screen.  Click on any link or button on the screen and it just beeps.  Rebooting the laptop, it returns to the configuration screen.  It will continue doing that until the Start 11 app is uninstalled from the programs list.

Thanks!

*** Resolved***

Created a local windows user account with security group Administrators.  Logged into laptop with new Admin account.  The Start 11 software installed and configured without error.

Logged back in as original user (Microsoft account) and Start 11 works as normal.

Thank you for all your help!
