Description text format in submissions

Someone has to ask the really stupid questions.. might as well be me hu!
How to you create a new line when giving the descriptions for your submissions, so that it looks nice and tidy instead of running together.
And is bold done as bold if that came out bold then I have the answer to that one.
(guess it didn't)

make a post then click edit. its the little thing with the br in it before the words message editted

If you want to bold something, just high-lite it and click the B above the 1st column of smilies.

Now stop it WOM, that was just tooo dang obvious for me to even think about doing.
