Fences 3 update on windows

keeps wanting me to update

Fences 3 update came through,

Have update my computer, and restarted

then every day when I start up my computer (for fresh boot)

It comes up with 'update for fences found, would you like to download and install'

so I did it again,

and now every day on all the computers I have it installed on does this.

Its really annoying

thanks.. but i cant be bothered to do that,

I understand that happening on one computer , but is happening to all my computers, so the issue lies with the update that you released, and this should be fixed and reissued.

Same here ...

I get it that you want us to upgrade or whatever, but I'm happy with Fences 3 - unless you add something like a button that read my mind and generate with all bs on my PC - or similar :) But for now I think I'll stay with F3 because F5 is too much for me.

Same issue here. It's really bloody annoying. Unless there's critical vulns being consistently found and patched in the .exe, why on earth is the app "updating" so often?

That's not a fix, that's a workaround that would disable genuine updates from being received. Please provide something more realistic.

There is not a 'WE REALLY MEAN IT, YOU WANT THIS UPDATE' switch.

You were provided with an update and a way to shut them off if you did not want them, meaning, you would have to do all future updates manually.  Its unclear to us what is being left unsatisfied here.

Fences 3 has not been updated in several years, thus, its hard to argue we do this a lot.  Contrast that with other applications that are updated once a day (looking at you, Discord).

Will manual updates still work after running that batch file? Thanks

Yes, I believe, you should be able to manually check for updates via your download product page here: https://store.stardock.com/myaccount/products

Bitdefender rejected that batchfile before it could even be finished downloading.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. But, If you downloading it directly from Stardock, it can safely be consider as false positive.
