New computer but want old fence snapshot to be on it

New computer

Hello!

I recently had a new computer (laptop) for my work computer. I still have the old computer which has the current fences desktop I want to use, but I can't figure out how to get it onto the new i7 computer. I'd really like to not lose my set up.  I have fences on both computers, having installed it with same log on /password.  However, when I log into Fences on the new computer, it doesn't pull the old fences snapshot that I took today with it.

How can I get my current layout/fences with folders, etc moved to my new computer (Laptop) Both have Fences installed on them with the same account/password for Fences on them.

One is a i3 Tower and the new one is a i7 Microsoft Surface 5 laptop, which will eventually be converted to be used basically as just replacement for my tower.  But I will be using a large 49" monitory, and wireless keyboard & mouse with it.  It will truly just be used for it's motherboard/processor/hard drive.

Any help would be appreciated. Remember, on a scale of 1 to 10 (10 being tech guru!) for computer savviness, I'm about a 3 or 4 depending....

THANKS!

Are you going from Windows 10 to Windows 10; Windows 10 to Windows 11; or Windows 11 to Windows 11?

For your Fences from the old computer to work on the new Computer, all the Desktop shortcuts need to be the same on the new computer. Any Folder Portals need to be in the same location.

If the new computer doesn't have the same "User Name," I'm not sure you will be able to migrate without rebuilding your Fences on the new computer.

Also, what version of Fences are coming from and what version is on the new computer?
