Stop Working

We have a problem with the use of your software, we have had it for more than 5 years and we had not had problems, now it has stopped working correctly, we have it installed as primary in Windows 11 and secondary in Windows 10, we had not had problems, but now the primary computer always appears as off. We have changed the primary to the secondary and vice versa and the problem persists, that is, we have uninstalled Multiplicity from Windows 11 and in Win 10 we reinstalled it on each of the computers alternating between primary and secondary, and the one that is primary always marks as off regardless the windows. version of multiplicity. 3.6 Build 00105.kvm. Thanks

Hello Basj, the truth is that there has not been any change in the hardware, and with respect to updates, the normal Windows ones. but he remembers that the problem happens regardless of the operating system, since we have set PC A as primary and PC B as secondary, and PC A was marked as disconnected. and when inverting it, that is, PC A as secondary and PC B as primary, the same thing happened in PC B, marking it as disconnected. That is to say that no matter which one is the primary one, it always shows it as disconnected. If you need a screenshot I can send it to you.

Thank you so much.

Many other things could have changed but the one we can be sure that has not is Multiplicity itself - something external changed to have it go from a working state to a 'disconnected' one.

What, if anything, changes after you work this document:

I'm having the same issue.  I tried re-installing multiplicity and there was no change.  The prime says it's still disconnected.  I'll try those things Sean Drohan suggested.

99% of connection issues are discovered \ resolved there.

Seconding this issue. Worked absolutely fine for years, including on these two very machines. For a while now it hasn't, and today I tried to fix it, thorough troubleshooting, reinstalling entirely, nothing.

Windows 11 primary won't even open settings from the taskbar when clicking "Configure Multiplicity." Nothing.

For true connection issues, I will bet a paycheck you will eventually find the issue working that connection page... In my 11 years, I have never seen it not resolve a 'all of a sudden it does not connect' report.

If it wont open the config at all, you have something else entirely going on... I would suggest a cleanboot...
