When I use the peak feature and try to drag to my program, it wants to drag it to the desktop, which is behind my video program. It’s acting like I’m still on the desktop. Hope that clears it up? I can make a video demo if u want. Thanks
I try to drag a video file to my timeline and it wants to drag to my desktop instead, which is behind the program.
I don't think that can work. Since when Fences in peak function. Your entire open application under it is just as a desktop area. I believe this is come back to Fences is a "Desktop" icons manager. So it only work on Desktop area. For peak to work, I think, not a Dev, so I am not really sure on this, what I observe, Fences freeze any open application that cover the desktop area and make it as desktop area. So any drag and drop from within the Fences to outside the fences it will drop on desktop not onto any open application that you can see.

But in the Fences 5 release trailer they do it. They drag a file right into the video timeline.

Ok, I checked, you can do this by using the hotkey "Show Fences (press & hold)" while that hotkey is pressed Fences will bring to the front. Click on any file in the Fences and drag, release that Fences hotkey while still click and drag that icon. Move that drag icon into your app work area and release it. Try that and see if that work.
