Fences 4 5-Pack was permanently priced at 36 dollars, and now the Fences® 5 5-Pack is priced at the regular price of 56.99 euros. I cannot even upgrade. Can you explain the costs to me as a long-standing customer?
Like a lot of other software vendors, Stardock has gone to a subscription model for Fences 5, and therefore a permanent license is provided at a premium cost. It sucks, I know, but the entire industry seems to be going in this direction. As long as you have an active subscription, you will get version upgrades as part of the subscription license. Also, there is a discount for upgrades.

How do I get a discount if I go from 4 to 5 I have a package with 5 licenses
What does that actually bring me when a new version comes every 2 years that I have to say?
There is currently no discount offered for previous version user for permanent license. But, there is discount for Subscription base purchase.
