Where do I start???

I've just got a Win11 PC and I don't like the start meneu so I bought Stat11 v2.  I choose win 10 style in configuration and I'm presented with a screen of what looks like randomly placed icons.  There are some apps grouped with names in the bottom of the group and some what look like headings with a + sign and hamburger next to them, but when I press on that it just lets me edit the name.  If I try to drag icons then various things turn green and pop up a + sign, but nothing seems to happen.  The support page seems to talk about groups and tabs and folders but there's no absolutely basic start up help.

All I want to be able to do is to put things in 'groups' together and line them up in my arrangement, as was the case with Win10.  Where do I find out how to do that?

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Please download and install the latest Start11v6.02.2 (Beta). This version should make arranging icons easier than previous version. You should be able to download from your product account page: https://store.stardock.com/myaccount/products#

As for drag and drop. You just need to click, drag and drop those tile any where you wish. When the "+" sign appear if you release then, it will make those two tiles into one Folder. Just like official Windows 10 Start menu.

There are lots of customization available in Start11v2. Just take your time to learn up on what each function does. What you need to know is that you can back up your setting, so that you can revert back to your previous state if you have done something you don't like.

Thank you.
