A new version of Libre Office (v 24) does not display icons in Start11 even though the files have embedded icons. The sole exception is Libre Office Base.

The icons are visible in Explorer.

The icons are visible in the Windows Start Menu.

The icons (except Base) do not display in Start11 v2.

Uninstalling and reinstalling Libre Office did not help, but I did find a solution. 

THE SOLUTION

Go to the file location, open Properties, and change the icon by browsing to a location where you saved new icons. This will require Admin rights. I found good choices here: https://icon-icons.com/. So this is not entirely a Stardock problem. Apparently somebody in the LibreOffice project made errors in creating icons.

The icons are in a directory separate from the program files.

After restarting the Explorer service, the icons appear in Start11.
