Older versions of WB

Hi all, I bought WB 11 and i'm having the infamous "error message -7" while installing. I've tried most of the solutions i found on the forum like reinstalling Windowblinds, doing windows 10 updates, downloading the setup software from my product account page and all.. but nothing seems to change.

 

I've tried to install 10.89 version and it worked but when i put the licence key the software seems not to recognize it. Does that mean that the key is only available for the 11 version??

 

I'm on windows 10 Education V10.0.19045

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Yes, WB11 key will not work on WB10. As for your "error message -7" issue,

I thought i had read all posts about this issue but apparently i missed this one :\  

Anyway, yesterday i managed to run it (finally) but the reason why i was able to make it working is still unclear for me until now because i tried many things at the same time.. but here is what i did:

 

First of all i disabled windows defender and i've followed the instructions on the link you sent on the other post (this one: https://woshub.com/updating-trusted-root-certificates-in-windows-10/ ), after that i ran the WB11 setup multiple times while randomly rebooting my OS. Finally a kind of shortcut (or the application i dont remember) appeared then i opened it as administrator.

 

Despite the error -7 message the software launched. I think my problem was because i'm on a new installed OS
