Start 11 v2.03 custom tile images issue

Hi. I use PNG images with alpha channels for custom tile images, but the loaded images are messed up. They look like they are reduced down to couple of colors. This wasn't an issue with v1. See the attached image for an example:

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. I need to be able to reproduce your issue on my system so that I can try to figure out what is going on. Please share details on your setup.

  1. Windows full version numbers.

  3. Start11 style selected.
  4. Start11 "Shortcut icons should be sized" setting? in Start menu -> Configuration-> Advance Options.
  5. Start11 Group icons size setting refer screenshot below.
  6. Monitor scale factors (100% 150% etc)

Thanks

Okay, after sometimes I managed to get it working. It was like your second screenshot when I first applied those icons to my start menu. But after I turn off the Rounded corner on menu and menu elements and Restart explorer. The icons look correct now. And I reboot my system and the icons stays as is. Refer screenshot below. Not sure why that option is causing it. I have forwarded your problem to Stardock Support Team for their review. Please keep an eye on this thread for any updates. We appreciate your feedback and patience.

Thanks Basj, indeed disabling the rounded corners restored correct appearance of those images.

I'll look forward to the fix.

Thanks.

@basj, after the 2.05 update, disabling the rounded corners no longer solves the issue.
