Grid snap options missing in Fences 5?

Hello there!

I've downloaded the newest version of Fences 5 to check it out.

In my old Fences 3 the grid snap works perfekt. The fences were snapping with the same space between them to each other.

In Fences 5 however it snaps only horizontally perfect, but noch vertically. 

I can't find an option where I can say Fences which spaces it should use for the snapping grid.

Is there a solution for me?

Hello Basj,

yes, I've tried it. I've set it from 0 to 10 pixels.

After some trying I've figured out that it doesn't work correctly if the space from the screen top is less than 20 pixels (or thirty, it's hard to make out) if the space is set to 10 pixels.

It seems there have to be a bigger space from the screen top to make it work. You don't need a bigger space for the horizontal alignment.

That's really strange.

Hello,

Refer screenshot below. I set the space at 10 pixel apart and here what I get to arrange my fences. Look like the space to top creen edge is at around 10 pixel too. Please post screenshots on your system.

Sorry for answering so late.

I've deinstalled Fences 5 and reinstalled it. Now it works perfectly.

I don't know what the problem the first time was, that it doesn't work correctly there.
