Win 11 KB5032190 File Explorer

File Explorer crashes

I have most of the Object Desktop software installed, including Start11, Fences4.21, Groupy2. After Windows 11 updated with KB5032190, file explorer crashes whenever it tries to open. Other forums have indicated that there might be a problem with software that has its hooks into the File Explorer and extensions, handlers, property sheets, etc. Has anyone else had this issue, and more importantly, has KB5032190 installed without any problems on systems running Start, Fences and Groupy?

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. I have that updated install and do not have any issue on my system running those Stardocks application.

Thanks

Thank you basj. That makes it easier to isolate the offending software. I know I'm going to have to uninstall a bunch of software, so any that I know are good with the update makes it a bit better.

You don't use explorer patcher do you?

As that's been known to cause some issues before.
