When the Start11 Enhanced taskbar is enabled, I have an issue with the Desktop version of Microsoft 365, Outlook app.
I have the Advanced settings for Send/Receive set to "Send immediately when connected," which forces Outlook to Send/Receive all folders when the app is launched.
Without the Enhanced taskbar enabled, when Outlook is launched, the taskbar icon shows an orange bar under the taskbar icon to indicate that it is launching and requires attention. The icon background is highlighted with a very light, red transparent color until Outlook has finished the Send/Receive task, at which time it reverts to the normal, light transparent highlight and the normal colored icon underline.
With the Enhanced taskbar enabled, when Outlook is launched, the taskbar icon is highlighted with a dark red, transparent highlight to indicate that it is launching and requires attention. Once Outlook has finished the Send/Receive task, the dark red, transparent highlight remains until I click Send/Receive again or open an email, at which time it reverts to the normal, light transparent highlight.
If anyone has Microsoft 365 and uses Outlook, please let me know if you experience this behavior.
Thanks,
pelaird
