Fences 3 Enter Product Key popup persists, even after installing Fences 4

At startup, Fences 3 Enter Product key pops up, can't get rid of it.

Hi, I am running Win 11.  I had a Fences 3 license.  I rebuilt my computer last week.  I tried to install Fences 3 but it would not connect to the license server?  So I bought Fences 4 - no problem.  Now at startup and other times, a popup wanting me to enter product key, purchease product key or start 30 day trial.  Whenever I click on any of them, it says "Unable to connect to activation server..."  I am connected to the internet. 

  • I tried entering in my old license key says cannot connect to activation server
  • I tried uninstall - nothing
  • I went to StartupApps - turned off Fences (does not say which version) - nothing, still there at Startup.

Help, this is very irritating.

Sorry to hear you are having issues. Please try purge and reinstall steps as mention here : [Link]. Just make sure to redownload the latest version from your account page. Reboot after the purge. Reinstall and reboot again after the installation. Retest and report back here.

Note: If you purchase Fences 4 via Steam there is no activation key needed and the installation and activation steps will be a little different.
