Language issue of Fences 4.21

Hi,

It's weird that Chinese language didn't work in Fences 4.21. Rebooting and reinstallation didn't help.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Strange, I can't read Chinese but my Fences look different than yours. Did you set your Windows display language to Chinese?

Yes, I did.

Looks like the Chinese language is not stable. Maybe you can run a test for it.

Maybe something went wrong when installing. Please try purge and reinstall steps as mention here : [Link]. Just make sure to redownload the latest version from your account page. Reboot after the purge. Reinstall and reboot again after the installation. Retest and report back here.

Hello, I have also encountered a problem with the display of Chinese. My situation is the same. The latest version has a probability that Chinese will fail when opening the software, especially after the system restarts. I am trying to reinstall the software and the language is set to Chinese, but this situation still exists. I hope you have time to fix this problem

  • Do you mean to say sometimes it works to set the language but other times not? 
  • What are the odds (approximately) that it will not render correctly in the Fences UI after a reboot? 
  • If you sign-out \ in (not a reboot), does it then render correctly? 
  • If you set it to Traditional Chinese, does it render it?
