Horizontal swipe is sensitive and often triggers "Back" when I scroll down the "All apps" listing

When I use my touchpad to scroll down the "All apps" menu, I'm often bounced back to the pinned apps display because there's slight horizontal movement in my swipe. I would appreciate the ability to disable horizontal swipe actions in the menu.
