Groupy 2 Install Issue

Not displaying properly

from Stardock Forums

Hi There,

 

I am trying to install group2, when the install package starts the window is not visible.

It is present on the taskbar and when you hover over it it shows up.

However as soon as you move the mouse away it disappears again, which means you cannot click on any options or buttons,

I am not using any second displays, the operating system is Windows 10 Enterprise: Build 19045.3208.

I have Start10 and Windowblinds 10 installed.

Sorry to hear you are having issues. Not sure on your issue. Please post a video so that we can understand your issue. You can post a video on any video sharing site, such as Youtube, set it to public. Post its link here.

You can see that the install appears on the taskbar and when you hover over it it appears on screen, but it does not appear when you click on it.

This means I cannot select the accept option and cannot install.

Just need to know, do you have Groupy V1 installed before on the system you're trying to install Groupy V2? Have you tried below steps.

  1. Uninstall Groupy V1 and then reboot your system?
  2. Have you tried installing while having Windowblinds disabled? Apply Windows default theme and reboot, install Groupy. See it that help.

Try those and report back.

Please try purge and install steps as mention here : [Link]. Just make sure to redownload the latest version from your account page. Reboot after the purge. Reinstall and reboot again after the installation. Retest and report back here.
