Unable to activate

I have and it activates but I cant use it because it keep asking me to enter the codes

Okay, that is good news. It shows that the key work. Only thing, it keep asking to activate again and again. Please refer to this guide: https://forums.stardock.com/486311/accounts-and-activation-support-faq#keepsaskingactivation. Try that and report back.

Ok I went to run menu and the only files I saw was Chehe.dat and Licence.sig

Please give me another solution.

Also, should I delete Fences 3 first or will Fences 4 cover 3?

Just to confirm: its Cache.dat and License.sig, yes? Did you deleted off the Fences folder in there?

I think it is best to delete both folders Fences 3 and 4.

And then reinstall 4 ?

No, just reboot and I believe, Fences 4 will ask for activation again. If not, if you start Fences configuration windows. It should ask for activation. Activate it and reboot, see if that work. Report back.

I did that and it still asks over and over again and will not let me use it

I dont know much about the registry.

Please try purge and reinstall steps as mention here : [Link]. Just make sure to redownload the latest version from your account page. Reboot after the purge. Reinstall and reboot again after the installation. Retest and report back here.

I am not going to recover my computer. I will lose everything that I have spent the last 20 doing. I did uninstall 3 and 4 nd restarted and then installed  only. That didnt work

How bout giving me a link to put Fences 3 on only with the codes and maybe forget about 4?

Sorry, I can't help you on that. Once Fences move to newer version. The link to older version is replace by newer version.

To purge Fences is pretty simple. Try to follow the instruction given in the link I listed in reply#11. But, if you can not. Please get someone to help you with it.
