Start 11 Search

Guys you really need to sort out the search feature it is soooo painfully slow. I can search for something in my documents folder and it takes around 30 secs to show.  (Done the normal TS.. Rebuilding Winindex etc...)  Switching to Classic search dramatically speeds things up but looks dated with small text which doesn't make for a pleasant experience.

I feel you either make huge gains in the search department or lighten start11 and scrap search and just let windows deal with it.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. It is best if you include information on your system. Windows full version numbers. Start11 version installed etc.

UPDATE:  Just discovered when switching windows 10 search mode from Enhanced to Classic this seriously improves the speed of Start11 search.

is start11 optimised to use windows10 enhanced search? Can someone check this on windows11 would be interesting to see the results.
