Fences Released Nearly All Desktop Icons From 9 Fences

I'm using Winblows 11. Explorer locked up while copying files from 1 external HD to another.

When explorer returned, I went to the desktop and found all my icons arranged to the left of the screen in columns, (except the 3rd column from the left had 4 empty slots?!), and of my 9 auto-hide fences, 4 were emptied, 4 had only 2 icons in them and one had 13.

80 are now outside fences and are unsorted.

I tried restoring the one snapshot that is usable, from 2 days ago.Nothing happened. Still buggered.

The other is from 15 months ago and the newest is from today/useless.

Anyone else deal with this and/or have a workaround??

I just ended up manually putting everything back where it was and fingers crossed it doesn't happen again.

After buying the entire suite and finding Icon Forge was trash that REALLY slowed down the response in Windows of this gaming rig

and then learning that the animated desktop wallpaper ALSO was buggy and doesn't work:

I'm starting to honestly wonder if I should have held onto my money....

Wow. It gets even "better"!

As the version of DeskScapes that I PAID for was an unfinished version of the software, I went to the product page to see if an official, working version of the app that I PAID for was available.

I couldn't find a download link for it. I was offered an upgrade option for "only" $6.00. (REALLY?! For a bogus piece of software I paid for???)

So I entered my email and was told: "Sorry. You don't qualify."

 !!

So my only option to get an, (I'm assuming) working version of the software I paid for is to Buy It AGAIN?!

Are you sure this is a business model you want to follow???

If you was talking about Deskscape and I am not really sure what you mean by "Icon Forge". I have not see you detailing out what issue you actually have with Deskscape on Windows 11. I believe there are thousands of Windows 11 user running Deskscape 11 without issue. If you have issue, you will need to tell us and let us help you figure it out.

I believe, you paid for Object Desktop pack back in April 2022. Which is Subscription base system and if you read here: https://forums.stardock.com/486310/object-desktop-support-faq#objectdesktop. Unless you renew your subscription you will not be able to download anything from the Object Desktop pack.

Yup. Thanks for confirming the scam.

You advertised the buggy Icon Forge as part of the suite AND Deskscapes, which I then learned was a pre-release version (so you basically got me to PAY and do R+D/bug reports for it) and now that you have a new and (final/fixed) version you want me to 'PAY "because your subscription ran out" while we dicked around creating a functioning stable version of the broken software WE SOLD YOU' ?

Yup. That's a scam.
