Windowblinds 4.20.017

All previous versions of Windoblinds allowed me to apply skins to the application: Lotus Notes. I downloaded the latest version yesterday and now none of the skins work with this application. It is not set up to be excluded in the Per Application settings. I'm diappointed as I want to use the Mac OSXP skin (my favorite) on my regular application every day. What do I need to do? Any suggestions out there? Please advise. Thanks.

It might be how LN is setup to handel the systems display, what version of LNotes are you running?

Also, if LNotes allows windows to handel the programs window(s) then WBlinds should do it by default...

I'm using the same version I've been using for two years: 5.0 for Windows 2000. Like I said all was well until I updated my version of Windowblinds.

Ok, just checking to see what version so I could go look at some of the program info on it...

If it did skin when running 2000 and 3.5 of WIndowBlinds, it should still do it and would probably be one of the settings in Windowblinds which is not defaulting to skin it....

I'll look and see if I can find something while I am sure some others will also...

it'll be figured out and all ok fine soon I am sure

BTW: I also really like the OSX skin, and the iTuns Graphite, though I do not see it in the library at this time...

for the life of me I can not find anything specific for it not to skin. If there is a USI1 subskin with it (OSXP) try loading that and see if it skins Notes. I'll keep looking a bit also, you might want to post this in the WC Help section of the message board so more people see it?

The problem I had when I downloaded the latest version of Wb was that sometimes it wouldn't skin the start button, then sometimes it wouldn't skin the system tray. I could re-apply the skin, but then when I restarted my PC it would do the same thing. So until they get that bug worked out I've rolled back to the previous version and I'm anxious to see that happen.

Betty, I haven't been able to figure out whats up with it and as webgizmos has pointed out there are some quirks being worked out and discovered as with any developing software application. You could do as suggested and roll back for now or try a skin I have loaded up which I an finding really sweet. Aluminum Alloy : by Kol... It is a fantastic port of the MAC OSX theme which my son runs on his Ti-16-G4Powerbook....

You are correct. It appears that an earlier version does just fine. In the earlier version you have to select "show hidden exclusions" when you select the tab "Per Applications" I'm not sure that you can do that in the latest version of WindowBlinds. And I'll try that scheme you suggestion. Thanks for replying.

Aluminum Alloy I think can be found at the Deviant Art site in the WindowBlinds section. I noted in a news update over there perhaps several days ago that they were having some bandwidth issues due to the growth/use of the site so I think I read that the search function was disabled for unregistered members. Registration is free. And it is a nice skin. Prety sure I got it at Dev Art.

Glad you got your program skinned now too.
