On the sales site for WindowBlinds it does not say for how long the license is valid, anyone knows?

The License is permanent. You keep the program forever.

However updates to the program cease being available as and when the program evolves to a new full version release.

Eg. if you purchase Windoblinds 10 you are eligible to all its point releases up to but not including Windowblinds 11 ...;)
