Fences settings window text hard to read, in few places impossible to read

Fences 4.1 settings window text hard is to read, it looks kinda grainy, in few places like drop down selection boxes impossible to read. This is on a system with OS version Windows 11 Pro 22H2 (os build 22621.1848). The display is Dell Alienware AW3423DW connected via DisplayPort to RTX 4090. Scaling is 100%.

The display has an QD-OLED panel and it appears the dropdown menu fonts on such display look terrible.

 

On other Windows 11 PC which has Asus VG27A (IPS panel), 2560x1440, 100% scaling, text generally looks even worse, but at least drop menu text is readable.

Why is the text readability so poor? I would imagine the devs are well aware of the poor look.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Do you have HDR turned on? Try turn it off and see if that help and report back.

Yes. HDR is on. With it off, the drop down text is ok, but general UI text looks the same, grainy.

Will be keeping HDR on.
