Fences 4

missing the "fade in faded fences" option on Windows 10

from Stardock Forums

HI  I use Fences 4 on both a Windows 10 and Windows 11 computers. On the Windows 11, there is an option under additional tweaks in the Color and Appearance tab  to "fade-in faded fences when the mouse is over them". On that pc, it works fine.  On the Windows 10 computer, that option is not there in the additional tweaks area. Both computers are using the latest version of both  Windows 10/11 and Fences 4.

Anyone have a solution?

Sorry to hear you are having issues. But, it appear on both of my systems. Refer screenshot below. Which Fences version you have on?

Fences 4 on both pcs,  one running Win 10  the other running Win 11. Just checked it again, and it is not there

On Windows 10 system, please try purge and reinstall steps as mention here : [Link]. Just make sure to redownload the latest version from your account page. Reboot after the purge. Reinstall and reboot again after the installation. Retest and report back here.
