Every time I offer them any kind of resource they actually refuse. What do I have to do to get them to take money?
Currently it is likely that AI is just limited and declines those offers per default. Keep in mind, this is not even "alpha".
Or did I get it wrong, and you have issues, while playing with friends?
AI did get some updates in the past few patches, but as currently game features are not finlized (just look at how trade ports changed over the time), it may be a waste of time investing all too much time into specific parts of the game, which may see drastic changes.
Overall, it is important to get feedback like this, so I thank you for it. And if you want to play with other casual players, we have every Saturday a gaming event.
