update 1.4.11 broke startallback - how to roll back to older version

Just updated to 1.4.11. Restarted and it broke startallback where it kept prompt "hold escape to prevent startallback from loading".

Does anyone where can I download the older version of start11?

Not clever to use both at the same time, as they are doing the same thing and that can cause conflicts. That is why You get the prompt I guess. Also Start 11 always has the newest builds to react to the newest Microsoft stunts with Windows Updates. Rolling back to older versions would undermine that.

Not clever to say they are doing the same thing. Start11 force start button to be aligned at left side if to use custom logo while startallback does not restrict the position.

That is not a correct statement

Startallback alters the startmenu and the taskbar as does Start 11. What is wrong about my statement? Of course that can cause several conflicts.

Show me how to use my own custom start button on Start 11 while still maintaining menu position in the centre of screen. If you can't show it, i will gladly accept your apology.

You are welcome to show me how to use custom start button while centred aligning the start button and menu position.

But claiming my statement was inaccurate without checking your own software make me want to do your job. You see as a nice person I even circled so that you can see clearly how incorrect was your statement.

How many monitors do you have?

Start11 does indeed allow a centred start button with a custom start button but as noted you need no more than two monitors and enhanced taskbar enabled in Start11.

I think you have just confirmed that you were incorrect for saying that my statement was incorrect. Regardless of how many monitors I use, if Start11 forced start button to align on the left due to multi-monitor and if I have to use startallback to achieve the intended result, that makes my statement valid.

Imagine selling a software and saying it works, you just can't use multiple monitors. lol?

At best Startallback is a competitor program for which Stardock will have no benefit in making anything of theirs compatible with it.

You either use one or the other.  You are ill advised to use both.

Shell enhancements should not be toyed with as they affect your interaction with your OS.

Two programs by two different vendors used at the same time to alter essentially identical areas should never be attempted unless you want to live at the coal-face of 'issues'...;)

Best example I can give is an old shell replacement [not enhancement] - LiteSTEP, that when it crashed all Windows could do was tell you to "reinstall Windows" as it had no understanding of the shell being used....;)

Your statement was incorrect.

Now this is just pathetic. LOL. "hey you see i said two and two is still multiple".

Just admit that this software has flaws. It isn't that difficult. The technical person has yet to comment but your simps are panic to whiteknight. lmao.

That's not the case here. They defended that their software could achieve the effect without startallback and that I was lying so I showed them with screenshot. It is not the issue of conflicts between two programs. That particular function in Start11 simply DOES NOT WORK under circumstance where NO OTHER enhancement tools have been installed.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Here what I get on my Win11 system, with just Start11 without Startallback. 2 Monitors. Btw, from what I know, Neil is the main Dev on Start11.

Thanks

Just in case you need the custom start button to work with the center start button. Here what I get with custom start button.

Thank you,

We do not accept abuse or insults on these forums.  Further violations will result in a permanent ban.

We have been upfront the software allows that option only with 1 or 2 monitors.  But 2 is indeed multiple monitors which you have incorrectly claimed the software does not allow.

We did support upto 16 monitors prior to the February update which changed how the Windows taskbar handled things and resulted in the two monitor limit.
