"Lock Fences" option does not apply

I'm using Windows 11 22H2 with Fences 4.10 and the 'Lock Fences' option doesn't get enabled on my PC.

Despite enabling it, it will always show as unchecked and Fences won't be locked.

I'm not sure there's a way to replicate this on another PC, but I'm looking for a fix.

I already tried purging the program with the .BAT file that Stardock provides.
