Start 11 - a type of document I cannot PIN to Start 11

Hello.  On my computer, i create a new shortcut and in the input line, I type "ms-settings: windowsupdate" which successfully goes right to the windows update screen where I can check for updates.  It works fine.  I'd like to Pin it to Start 11 but I don't see it as an option.   Please check this out and letme know if this feature can be added.  Thanks

If you can make those into a batch file. You can than pin it to Start11.

Thanks Basj.  While i have all the tools to make batch files executable, ms-settings fails to compile as part of a batch file.  It's something Microsoft did only half way.  But thank you for the suggestion.

Hi Neil.  It's your latest doanload in the format windows 11 style.  I understand why it will not pin.  Not to worry.  I have gotten it to work.  If you want details, I can provide them
