After updating Windows 11 22621.1344 (Moment 2) today, the theme in windowblinds11 cannot be applied

The theme should apply apart from the taskbar.  We have an update in development for this which hopefully we can release later this week.

It is recommended to design the following task bar

Taskbar size feature also stopped working as the option to resize the task bar disappeared from Windows settings too

It would be great if you find a way how to still allow taskbar resizing as the Windows taskbar is ugly large now after the last update and your version doesn't work properly (causes icons misalignment and is too small overall)

You can enable the option for enhanced taskbar which should support this.

Unfortunately, the enhanced taskbar causes the notification area misalignment so it cannot be used. Besides, changing the taskbar size option has no effect in the enhanced taskbar either and causes other issues (freezes etc.).

Say thanks to MS for changing the taskbar. SD is working on a fix.

My windowblinds 11 can't work normally in windows11 (22621.1344), not start11. Is there any update for windowblinds11?

Not yet. It's probably in the works. In the meantime reports are that the problems are mostly solved with the interval Start11.

If you're having a problem post a video or screen shot.

Because it doesn't work properly, I have temporarily uninstalled windowblinds11. You can try it yourself. Windowblinds11 doesn't work on the taskbar after the theme is applied.

Only if you did the Moment 2 update, or if you're using additional gui altering software besides Stardock's, or if you're on an insider build of W11.

There was an error in transparency settings, and there was an error in applying the Diamond theme

The transparency setting is invalid for the taskbar

100%

If you reboot your system. Does the area in the red box shown above in my screenshot appear? If not, please try purge and reinstall steps as mention here : [Link]. Just make sure to redownload the latest version from your account page. Reboot after the purge. Reinstall and reboot again after the installation. Retest and report back here.

iihad to uninstall  that windows update. it removed my notification tray and clock. when i looked into it, it seems its a very buggy update causing all kinds of issues. since the Windows Update was 'optional', i just uninstalled it.

A large part of the update was for touch screen and tablet with a new streamlined design for the taskbar, which explained my particular issue. There are reports of a download error 0x80248007 that are really giving some people a hell of a time. I posted my issue on Microsoft Support but haven't heard back yet. I personally don't think the problem is Windowblinds but the update itself.

It's not so much a windowblinds issue but an issue with start11 and how it hooks into the taskbar. That update changed some things behind the scenes which is why it's very wonky unless you install the beta version of start11 that fixes it. To many unnecessary changes to soon that have not been tested.

And you'd be correct. Uninstalling the Moment 2 will only help until March 14th because then it will become mandatory. The Start11 update 1.4.0.2 or the one available on 3/14 should correct your issue.
