WindowFX 6.13

Taskbar disappears

from Stardock Forums

I had to turn WindowFX (6.13) off.  It was causing the task bar on my secondary monitor to disappear.  When I turned it off, the taskbar came back.  Running Windows 10.

Update: It happened again with WindowFX off, so it wasn't the problem.  The taskbar search field starts blinking and then the task bar goes away.  Anyone else seeing this?  (only on my second monitor.  The primary monitor retains the taskbar).

Sorry to hear you are having issues. I have not see the issue on my system. I am on two monitor system and Windows 10. But as I said in the original entry:  I is not related to Stardock software.  I thought it was, but I was wrong.  When I turned off WindowFX, it did a reset which brought back the taskbar, so I thought it was the software that was hiding the taskbar.  I have since performed more research and found that this is a known problem with Windows 10 (not releated to Stardock).  If I could have deleted the entry, I would have since it adds no value to this forum as it doesn't deal with any problem with WindowFX.
