Somebody here deliberately crashed the server to save us from Kona's icons...

About three years before this day.

Hopefully we won't have to restore an archive.  I think we back up every 24 hours or something.  I'd ask T-Man for sure, but I'm afraid he'll throw something at me right after he finishes pulling out his remaining hair.  We'll just have to wait and see what we can recover.  We'll let everyone know what happens as soon as it happens.

because there is a server up online (wincustomize east) it is (wincustomize west) that is having problems, it seems that it is causing some problems on east also as far as accessing the user data base to some extent. But it is functioning well enough that some library enterys are accessable...

At least this is my impression of what is going on...

The News item Nakor posted explains the situation enough for anyone to understand what is taking place without getting into the tech end of it all...

btw; How's the wireless working for you?

I've installed a second netowkr here a second network here at the house and installed the 108 mbit Netgear. There is supposed to be an upgrade coming out that allows the 108 with 11b and 11g with WiFi also soon. I am thinking that Linksys will have an update for theirs also.

I do notice that I can walk down one house over and sit in the backyard while online with my laptop which is sweet to say the least

It (The network itself) is working great in spite of the fact that there are two walls and a metal staircase from the router to the card. However, leaving the card in the laptop can cause it (the computer) to freeze and require a restart...Got a new driver for the wireless NIC a few days ago, but I havent checked weather or not that helped...

The laptop stays upstairs nowadays but the newtork goes all over the house... (And then some) ...I suppose I could give a live video tour of the house/yard by walking around with the comp and webcam.
