Can't disable the user icon when using windows blinds 11

I'm using both Start 11 and Windowsblinds 11. If I use Start11 by itself i can disable the user icon on the right side in the start menu...but if I'm using both applications, the toggle "Show the user icon when the style supports it" does nothing. I believe Windowsblinds 11 is overriding the setting and would like to request a fix or setting to force the off the user icon in the start menu, no matter what theme is chosen. My current theme is Win8.

The way to disable the user pic is by using Skin Studio (SKS). You can download it for free from your account https://store.stardock.com/myaccount/products then, "View individual downloads".

Then, in Skin Studio, open the skin you wish to remove the pic from and...

Then,

Then, a window with the skin's name will open. If it has substyles, they'll be in a drop down list. You can choose. Try the main skin first.

Then, after choosing, this will appear:

Follow the numbered steps above. Save your changes and exit...

Then...this last screen (phew!) will appear. Click save and hopefully you're done. If the pic still appears, repeat the above for all the substyles. That should take care of it. Good luck!  ;)

i appreciate the walkthrough...but it seems like a lot of work just to disable that icon in the start menu. also, i have studio 10...not 11...will that work or do i have to purchase 11?

edit
ok I got it to work...still, a setting or toggle in windowsblinds itself would be nice.

Since you purchased WB11, you automatically have SKS11. Look at the first screenshot. Go to the link and look at the list of your software. The same steps apply to SKS10.

You'd have to redesign the skin, and the top bar...maybe a skinner or Master skinner can answer that for you. I suggest you make a separate post with that question or p.m. a Master skinner like Lightstar, or don5318, and ask that question. I'm not sure it can be done...but then, I'm not a skinner.

ok thank you, no worries...I thought it was relevant to the problem, by removing the user icon, it left unintended after effects. I shall ask the others then. /salute
